What this site collects, what it does not, and how to change your mind.
The short version
Nothing is measured until you allow it, and nothing is loaded from anyone else until you allow it either. No advertising, no profiling, no data sold or shared. Fonts and images come from this domain, never from Google Fonts or a content network. Until you say yes, this page makes no request to any third party at all — not even to load the analytics script. Say no, or say nothing, and Google never learns you were here.

Server logs
The hosting provider records each request with IP address, time, the page requested, referrer and browser string. This is technically necessary to deliver the site and to defend against attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are not merged with anything else and are deleted by the provider on its own schedule.
Hosting is provided by Hostinger International Ltd. within the European Union, under a data processing agreement.
Video, only after you press play
Where a post contains a video, what you see before you press play is a still image served from this domain. Nothing is requested from YouTube until you press it — no connection, no cookie, no third party. Press play and the YouTube player loads; from that point YouTube (Google Ireland Limited) receives your IP address and sets its own cookies under its own privacy policy, and I have no control over that. The button says so before you press it.
This is the same rule as the analytics script above: the site asks first and loads second. Added 6 September 2026, at the same time as the new design.
Measurement, only with consent
If you allow it, Google Analytics counts visits so I can see which posts get read. The script that does this is not on the page beforehand: it is fetched from Google only after you click yes, and only then are cookies set. This was changed on 6 September 2026. Until that day the script loaded on every visit with storage held at denied, which meant no cookie and no profile, but Google still saw the request. That is no longer the case. Declining, or simply ignoring the banner, means no request, no cookie, no measurement. If you consent, Google Ireland Limited processes usage data on my behalf. Legal basis: consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time using the cookie choice link in the footer, with effect for the future.

Fonts
All typefaces are served from this domain. No request goes to Google Fonts, so your IP address is not transmitted to a third country for that purpose.

Comments are switched off. No comment data is collected.

There is no email list
This site collects no email addresses. A subscription form stood here until 6 September 2026; the sending service behind it was never connected, so every submission failed and nothing was ever stored. Rather than keep a form that could not deliver, it was removed. If a newsletter is set up later, this page will name the provider and the legal basis before the first address is collected. Until then, the only way to reach me is the email address above, and what you write there is covered by the section on contact by email.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Write to the address above. You may also complain to a supervisory authority — for example the Austrian data protection authority or the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate.
