Privacy

What this site collects, what it does not, and how to change your mind.

The short version

Nothing is measured until you allow it. No advertising, no profiling, no data sold or shared. Fonts and images load from this domain, so no third party learns you were here unless you say yes.

Server logs

The hosting provider records each request with IP address, time, the page requested, referrer and browser string. This is technically necessary to deliver the site and to defend against attacks. Legal basis: legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. These logs are not merged with anything else and are deleted by the provider on its own schedule.

Hosting is provided by Hostinger International Ltd. within the European Union, under a data processing agreement.

Measurement, only with consent

If you allow it, Google Analytics counts visits so I can see which posts get read. Until you allow it, Google Consent Mode holds every storage category at denied, and this is set in the page head before the analytics script loads — the banner is not the lock, the lock is already closed when the page arrives. Declining changes nothing, because nothing was running.

If you consent, Google Ireland Limited processes usage data on my behalf and cookies are stored in your browser. Legal basis: consent, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw it at any time using the cookie choice link in the footer, with effect for the future.

Fonts

All typefaces are served from this domain. No request goes to Google Fonts, so your IP address is not transmitted to a third country for that purpose.

Comments

Comments are switched off. No comment data is collected.

Contact by email

If you write to me, your message and address are processed to answer you and kept as long as the matter needs. Legal basis: legitimate interest or pre-contractual steps, Article 6(1)(f) and (b) GDPR.
